Trabalenguas

Today’s Spanish word of the day: trabalenguas. Meaning tongue-twister. That may join my list of favorite Spanish words, which includes paraguas.

And here’s the example given:

Pablito clavó un clavito en la calva de un calvito. En la calva de un calvito, un clavito clavó Pablito.

Pablito nailed a little nail Into a little bald man’s bald patch. Into a little bald man’s bald patch Pablito nailed a little nail.

Sounds gross, doesn’t it? But the word itself, trabalenguas, I like it. It rolls off the tongue ;)
